Costa Rica is making it easy for people who choose or want to get vaccinated, however, now…some of the TICOS who live in Costa Rica do NOT have a choice depending on where they work???
I think the government is trying to stop or slow down the spread of the vaccine by implementing these Covid Mandates, but the question is…”How will this affect Tourist and will it be required for tourist to get vaccinated?”
Costa Rica is making it just as easy for those who choose NOT to get vaccinated, so it does NOT seem they are trying to force their people or tourist to get vaccinated.
While you do have a few benefits to receiving the Covid Vaccine, Costa Rica is NOT making it mandatory at this time. You can still visit Costa Rica if you have not been vaccinated. You will need to buy traveler’s insurance in the event you get sick while you are visiting Costa Rica.
Many countries are making the Covid Vaccine easily available, however, some countries are making it mandatory to show proof of a Covid Vaccine before being allowed in some public places like shopping and restaurants. While that seems harsh, Costa Rica is allowing you to have the freedom of choice.
I think we should all respect each other’s choices and learn to agree to disagree so we can all enjoy living in a peaceful environment.
It is important to follow all of the requirements when coming to Costa Rica. Costa Rica still wants people to wear a face mask and respect social distancing.
Costa Rica has been doing a good job in my opinion with the Covid Pandemic and I don’t think the pandemic has been as bad in Costa Rica as it has been in many other countries.
Costa Rica is doing a much as it can to boost the local economy by creating new laws to attract foreigners to live in Costa Rica, attract digital nomads, and making it easier for tourists to visit.
By offering Covid Vaccines to the local people of Costa Rica and their residents, and helping people to understand the Requirements to be able to get the vaccinations is one more step in helping people feel safer about the pandemic.
